Why buy in ELIFE
Why aren’t your e-bikes the cheapest on the market?
Why aren’t your e-bikes the cheapest on the market?
Our e-bikes are designed to be the best in their price segment, not the cheapest. Making the lowest-priced bikes would mean compromising on quality. We know you’ll likely use your e-bike more than expected, and over time, you’ll appreciate having invested in superior quality.

About Choosing your E-bike
How powerful of a motor should I choose?
How powerful of a motor should I choose?
Think about how you plan to use your e-bike. Many riders end up cycling more and farther than they expected. All our e-bikes come with high-performance motors and top-quality batteries, so focus on choosing the right frame, equipment, and price range rather than just motor power—an e-bike is much more than its motor!
We recommend test-riding different models before considering the price. At our dealers, you can thoroughly test and compare e-bikes. Be sure to ride up steep hills and for several kilometers to truly experience how the e-bike performs.
Is a bigger battery always better?
Is a bigger battery always better?
Not necessarily. Battery quality depends on cell chemistry, capacity, and grade—not just size. A 500Wh battery with high-quality cells can outperform a 900Wh battery with lower-grade cells in longevity and performance.
If an e-bike boasts huge battery capacity and high motor power at a low price, the manufacturer likely cut costs on key components, leading to shorter lifespan and reduced efficiency. For example, an e-bike marketed with a 115Nm engine and 900+Wh battery, and is much cheaper than alternatives with 70Nm engine and 600Wh batteries, then the former bike has compromised a lot on quality.
We use only Grade-A battery cells from top manufacturers, ensuring faster charging, longer life and minimal capacity loss over time.

How far can I ride on one battery charge?
Range depends on various factors like road and weather conditions, temperature, rider weight, load, cadence, motor assistance, and terrain. Bosch offers a useful tool to estimate range: eBike range calculator for Bosch systems : eBike range calculator for Bosch drive systems (note that this is only an estimate).
